This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing business delivering a range of commercial construction projects across the ACT and surrounding regions. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate estimates, coordinating tender submissions and supporting project wins. Candidates with concrete construction experience will be highly regarded, however estimators from broader commercial construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations Assist with bid preparation and tender strategy Identify project risks and opportunities during the estimating phase Liaise with project managers, clients, consultants and subcontractors Maintain estimating databases and pricing schedules Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience as a Commercial Estimator Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies Ability to interpret drawings and specifications Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Highly Regarded Experience estimating concrete packages or concrete construction projects Experience within commercial, government or education sectors Relevant construction qualification Salary & Benefits $130,000 - $160,000 super (depending on experience) Full-time permanent position Strong pipeline of upcoming projects Career development and progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative team culture Long-term stability with an established contractor About the company The employer is a respected commercial construction contractor delivering high-quality projects across the ACT.
